RDI2CluB presented in BioPaavo - Bioeconomy Business Accelerator

March 6, 2020 | Bioeconomy Campus

BioPaavo is a freshly launched bioeconomy business accelerator in Saarijärvi, Central Finland. It is developed with the support of EU funding, the City of Saarijärvi and The Institute of Bioeconomy of Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. BioPaavo aims to support the development and commercialization of new bioeconomy solutions in Central Finland (and hopefully in a wider region in future).

RDI2CluB works in close relations with regional RDI institutes (JAMK, Jyväskylä University), local authorities (Regional Council of Central Finland, City of Saarijärvi and other innovative parties of Central Finland) and with regional SME’s. BioPaavo is a perfect meeting place for all of these actors.

RDI2CluB -project had a showroom week in BioPaavo and it included a diverse program for different target groups of the project: regional SME’s, RDI-personnel and local students. All events aimed to develop the bioeconomy innovations in the area and raise awareness of the RDI2CluB -project and of bioeconomy in general.

Program included Biobord presenting and user support, Waakku-mobile application user support (local pilot) and a Biobord Matchmaking event where RDI2CluB connected an effective communication tool (impact reporting) and local bioeconomy actors. All events gave tools for the audience to develop bioeconomy innovations, find needed services and get more knowledge of the local bioeconomy field.
