Pavāru radošā māja (eng. - a Chef's Creative Workshop) is located in Latvia's Gauja National Park, 70km from Riga and 20km from Cesis. The project's creator is Ēriks Dreibants, a well-known Latvian chef and a co-owner of Restaurant 3 and Restaurant 3 chefs. The Chef's Creative Workshop is a place where a chef can get out from the daily routine and devote himself fully to creative work. It welcomes chefs from all over the world with only one condition - they should share certain values:

• choose products whose certificates clearly show their origin that is in line with the responsible farming and fishing regulations;
• in the cooking process, use every single part of the ingredient;
• passion to explore and discover the unique tastes of the natural foods characteristic to the region;
• use more natural foods unaffected by human intervention or industrialization;
• give careful consideration to the quantities needed in order to preserve biodiversity.
