Priekuli Research Centre of Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics is located in Priekuli county Vidzeme region, Latvia. The crop management department researches soil tillage, plant protection, research on efficiency of crop growing technologies for cereals, potato, legumes, hemp, maize and other innovative crops. In the context of climate changes, the evaluation of field crop different species and varieties is becoming more and more essential for farmers, breeders, seed distributors and agricultural researchers. The comparative field trials in organic and integrated farming systems are offered to customers. The field trials can be organised in different geographical regions of Latvia (Kurzeme, Latgale), including different farming systems.
