Latvian Food Bioeconomy cluster | Vidzeme Planning Region

Vidzeme Planning Region (VPR) is a Regional administrative authority working under supervision of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Regional development of Latvia. VPR ensures regional strategic and spatial planning and develops and implements cooperation projects between municipalities, governmental institutions, entrepreneurs, R&D organizations and NGO`s to reach the strategic targets in the region. VPR is active, experienced and reliable consortium partner in more than 40 international projects in INTERREG, Horizon 2020, COSME, ERASMUS+ and other programmes. VPR has developed a significant experience in project management as a project partner, work package leader, lead partner, policy development, policy and good practices transfer, stakeholder management, dissemination, and strategic communication planning in many different fields - tourism, bioeconomy, business support, innovation, mobility, energy efficiency, culture, social care, migration etc. VPR also is one of the founders of „Latvian Food Bioeconomy Cluster”.
